Joy McPherson lost her struggle with brain cancer this morning and passed away.
Joy was my midwife when I was pregnant with Angelique.
Hearing the news this evening has stirred up a lot of emotions in me.
Please spare a thought for Joy, her loved ones and all those who were connected to her in some way. She touched many many lives and was an amazing woman.
Go well Joy. You will not be forgotten.(Give someone you care about a hug and tell them you love them while you can.)
