GUN RUN 2012 - Results

The Gun Run Results are published already. Wow they are fast! Not 100% accurate as they have me listed as finishing at 49:00, when the clock said 48:52 (and my 2x personal timing devices had 48:48), but anyway close enough!

So as usual here are my stats:

( *Noting that in this case my age category is pretty broad as they don't differentiate between anyone between junior and over 40, so the range is 20-40.)

So not quite a 'mensian' when measured against men, but right up there in the woman's race. :)

Oh and the 65 year old woman who stayed in front of me and who I could not catch, actually WON the 60-70 category. She finished 8 seconds before me.

Also I have noticed I am still running with a distinct heel-strike action. When I train I have been trying to focus on a toe strike, but it seems I forget this completely when I race!
